Hot cross bun latte

Make your coffee.
A double espresso.
Or a French press made a bit stronger than usual.
(about 1/3 of a cup)
Give a couple of cloves a bash.
Add 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
1/2 tsp nutmeg.
That’s your hot cross bun spice mix.
Add it to your coffee.
Stir.
A dash of Caramel syrup.
Or vanilla.
Go with your mood.
It'll bring out the spice.
Add hot, frothy milk*
Now get crafty –
Cut two little rectangles, lay them in a cross on top.
Chocolate powder over the top.
And there's your hot-cross-latte-art.

Cream egg latte

Take a cream egg.
Split it in half.
Drop one half into your cup.
Make your coffee.
Espresso – one or two shots.
Or a strong coffee made in a French press.
Pour the coffee over the egg.
Give it a stir. Let it melt.
Add hot, frothy milk*
And because it’s Easter -
let’s not hold back…
Whipped cream...
Chocolate sauce...
