Here’s how to grind your coffee to suit how you want to brew it

Whole beans give you the freshest flavour you can get.

But freshness only works if you grind them right.

Different brew methods need different grind sizes.

Here’s your guide:

- French Press / Cold Brew → Coarse
Big, chunky pieces. Like rock salt. 

- Chemex / Clever Dripper → Medium-Coarse
Less chunky, more even. Like coarse sand or demerara sugar. 

- V60 / Pour Over → Medium
A bit finer. Like sea salt.

- Aeropress → Medium to Fine
Flexible. Somewhere between sea salt and table salt. Adjust to taste.

- Espresso → Fine
Like table salt. Ready for the pressure.

👉 Tip: If your coffee tastes bitter, grind a bit coarser.
If it tastes weak or sour, grind a little finer.

A small adjustment can make all the difference.
